The Majestic Line offers luxury cruising in the sheltered waters of Argyll and the west Highlands of Scotland.

Unique to the west coast of Scotland, we give you the comfort and space of a larger vessel and the intimacy of a self chartered yacht.

The Glen Massan is an 85ft traditional wooden vessel converted to the highest standards to carry up to 12 passengers.

TYPICAL DAY ABOARD

Wake up and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee whilst lounging in your gown looking out to sea. Early birds can be run ashore for their morning constitutional.

Breakfast is served in the saloon between 8 and 9am. Talk over with the skipper the itinerary for the day and discuss with him any particular expeditions you or your friends want included. Typically the vessel will cruise for two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon and shore activities can be tailored around that.

Take morning coffee when ever you like as a percolator and kettles are always available and help yourself to nibbles from the fresh fruit bowl, biscuits and snacks.

western isles mapLunch and dinner is served at the communal table. The menu is discussed with the cook each day and she will be only too happy to accommodate special requests.

Lunch on board is between 1 and 2pm.

Afternoon tea is around 5pm depending on the other activities and dinner will be served at 7.30pm.

After dinner relax taking in the evening film if you wish, alternatively go ashore to a local ceilidh or a stroll in the long summer twilight or just relax before being gently lulled to sleep.

We offer specialty cruises such as hill walking, bird watching, golf, whisky tasting, genealogy or just enjoying the sites of Scotland . Ghostly & Haunted Tours of Scotland.

Ghostly & Haunted Tours of Scotland.

"Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night?
Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic?
Have you or your family ever seen a spook, spectre or ghost?
If the answer is "yes," then don't wait another minute.
Pick up the phone and call the professionals... "

Quoted from the movie "GhostBusters"

When this idea was floated at a meeting some of the staff jumped at the chance to make this tour. After some research we found that there no other companies in scotland offering a full tour which travels and staying in haunted castles, visits haunted location and can pass on a lot of history about the haunted places in scotland. (at time of writing, march 15th 07, We are the first company to run Ghost tours that links all the areas together in Scotland)

So we are in the process of linking all the little businesses that offer these services in localised areas to create for you a fantastic Ghostly Tour of Scotland.

We are now inviting you on a Ghostly and Haunted tour of scotland.A chance to find out what is really going on inside the walls of every ancient Manor House or Castle.

On your Ghostly and Haunted tour of the 'not so Bonnie Scotland', you will be given the opportunity to visit ancient graveyards where ghostly apparitions have been sighted, castles, churches, cathedrals, abbeys, closes, battlefields, sinister railway stations and more.

Below are some of the places we are planning to visit on the tour (yes some of them are south of the border but the opportunity they represent was to good to miss). More on Ghostly and haunted Tours

Best Scottish Recipies

Scottish food and drink recipies- Scottish cooking at it's best.

One of the pleasures of visiting a country is sampling its native dishes. And in Scotland, despite its northerly latitude, our hills, rivers, forests, farms and seas provide one of the richest and most varied menus in Europe. Until the middle of the eighteenth century, communications in
Scotland were sparse and most communities lived in a degree of isolation unthinkable today. Thus many of their dishes assumed a local character, based on the ingredients available to them. I hope you enjoy these Scottish Recipes.
